Morristown High School located in Morris County New Jersey, has one of the top broadcasting departments and facilities in the state. Comprised of its radio station, WJSV 90.5 FM, and school television program, Colonial Corner, Morristown High School offers students the opportunity to experience real world media production.
 

WJSV 90.5 FM has been on the air for over 40 years, it has a real FCC educational license and it is 150 watts reaching the greater Morristown area. Students must pass a written test, apprenticeship, and an operational board test to acquire a DJ license. The station is on air continuously from Monday through Friday during the school year.


Colonial Corner is a student run television program. It covers sports, clubs, and academics, as well as music videos and comedy segments. Colonial Corner can be viewed on YouTube

 

We pride ourselves on our professionalism and quality of our product. Many Morristown High School broadcasting graduates have gone on to full-time employment in the Radio/TV business. Graduates have also matriculated at some of the finest broadcasting colleges and universities including; The University of Southern California, UCLA, Emerson College, NYU, Ithaca College, Syracuse University, Hofstra University, Montclair State College, and William Paterson University, among others.
